INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY
As a rule, Center Stage does NOT close for inclement weather when Fairfax County schools close. In case of inclement weather, please call the studio one (1) hour before your scheduled class time and the message will indicate if classes are cancelled. If you hear the regular message, classes will be held. An email will be sent to everyone at the studio who has registered their email with the Studio and this website will also be updated.
Our policy for cancelled classes due to inclement weather is as follows: a scheduled makeup time and date will be made by the teacher (at her convenience) of the cancelled class and the students informed. If a student cannot make the scheduled make up time, they are welcome to make up in any other scheduled class at Center Stage. Cash refunds or tuition credit will not be given for any class cancelled due to bad weather.

march tuition payment
Please note that March tuition is due by March 1st. Tuition that has not been received by that date will be charged a $25 late fee. Please mail or bring in your payment before March 1st in order to avoid being charged a late fee.

center stage closings
Center Stage will be closed for spring break from Monday March 29th through Sunday April 4th. Classes will resume on Monday April 5th.
CENTER STAGE PRESENTS ITS 20TH ANNUAL DANCE REVUE "DANCIN' FOOLS"
Center Stage is proud to announce its 20th annual dance revue, “Dancin’ Fools” which will be presented on Saturday June 26th at 7:30 pm and Sunday June 27th at 3:00 pm at South Lakes High School in Reston, VA. Tech rehearsal for the Saturday show will be on Wednesday June 23rd from 6-10 pm and dress rehearsal for the Saturday show will be on Friday June 25th from 4:00 – 6:30 pm at South Lakes. Tech rehearsal for the Sunday show will be on Thursday June 24th from 6-10 pm and dress rehearsal for the Sunday show will be on Friday June 26th from 7:00 – 9:30 pm. Information as to which show(s) you will be dancing in will be mailed in December. Costume bills for recital costumes will also be mailed in December – this money will be due in early January.
CENTER STAGE Performances
Members of our Tap VI and Contemporary classes (Michael Hibbs, Jen Loeffler, Jahnee Milhouse, Jodeci Milhouse, Mary Mudd, Ellen Reynerson, and Jenna Stegmann) will be performing in the 24th Annual Washington Metro Area Jazz and Tap Festival on March 6th and 7th, 2010. Tickets can be purchased in the Center Stage office now!
Members of the Center Stage performing team will be performing at the Downtown Disney Stage in Walt Disney World on Monday March 29th (actual time has not yet been announced). Dancers include: Kate Boggs, Jessica Flanders, Michael Hibbs, Tammy Kiser, Samantha Masino, Bailey Meyers, Victoria Sachs, Peanut Saunders, Zaida Schebish, Eva Varghese and Tara Yasa. Congratulations to them!!
Team members (including Kelly Brennan, Harmony Edemen, Melody Edemen, and Lianna Williams) will also be performing at the Headliner's Regional competition March 19-21 in Columbia, MD.
birthday parties
Would you like a fun, stress free way to celebrate your child’s birthday?? We are now hosting birthday parties at Center Stage. We do different themed parties like “High School Musical” and other dance oriented themes. Your child and their friends will be taught dances and put on a small show for parents at the end of the party. Prices (for Center Stage students) start at $165 for two hours and 12 attendees. Prices for non Center Stage students start at $185 for two hours and 12 attendees. Call the office if you’re interested.
